This is for anyone wanting to establish CR going into the game, or if you're already in the game and looking for more. It can help you hit the ground running on potential inter-personal plots. Use it however you like!

So while I'm thinking about it, we talked via Sleepy about a connection in their backstories, namely the mutant that pushed both of them into doing stuff. I went with a weather controlling mutant for the Izanami stand-in in mine (Yu's a power-copier so a power-enhancing-mutant wouldn't make much sense) but if you're up for it it's still possible they met the same person, or members of the same group, if you want that connection.

Yes, we can do that! I like the link in their backstories. Maybe there's a reason she has both weather controlling and power-enhancing powers. If she has power enhancement and manipulation, she could also use her power manipulation to give herself others' powers temporarily, which is why she could have weather powers, too? Or something like that. But I'm fine with interpreting it in other ways, too.

As in canon, Adachi knows approximately nothing about who enhanced his powers, just that there was such a person.

Did you want to have Adachi and Yu have talked before, like in the test drive meme? If not, we can easily have them meet some other way.

I figured either the character has both, or it was two different linked people...Izanami does have multiple incarnations in canon, so "she" could easily be a small organization in this AU. Either way, we can hash out the details later on.

And yeah, I think we can declare that thread canon. There's only so many ways Adachi's going to make friends with someone in the first place.

Yes, that does make sense, considering the incarnations, so I'm perfectly willing to go with that, too! And I like the idea of a secret mutant group. Izanami could even be the name of the group or something, but like I said, I'm okay with anything, since Adachi doesn't know a damn thing about it.

All right, then it's canon. You make a very good point. After all, making friends is stupid!
