sob poor bb

[Zian rubs the bridge of his non-existent nose. He's not even going to touch the first thing because wow.]

Yes, of course. America does not have anti-mutant supremacist running for office or anything.

[Sigh.]

Kid, I don't know what you've been through and what people have been telling you, but there's a side to this that you haven't given any thought. Or at least not rational ones. If you stay here for a while, maybe your eyes will open a bit more. The kids here just want to feel safe, but we've already had giant robots destroying the school once, sent by mutant-haters, and just recently we were attacked again by humans that wanted to steal mutant organs to make themselves into a third, mixed species.

Let me say that again. They attacked a school to butcher children for their organs. Sorry, but I doubt that's something mutants would do to humans.

...and this place is for kids to learn how to control their powers, so of course there are weird stuff around. Big training facilities and stuff, just to help them understand themselves. Fixing them, as you say. The rest belongs to the X-Men, which are mutants actively fighting to protect humans and mutants alike. That's Xavier's dream, to coexist on equal levels.

Registering will not accomplish that. It will make mutants second-class citizens. I can heal people with my touch. Cure diseases. Prevent cancer. Yet I could not go to a medical school because I'm a seven feet purple guy. There are people living in the sewers here too that can make amazing things but are hated because they're mutants.

They'll be registered too, just as the dangerous ones, and they'll be in danger because of it. Even though they could help people. Even though they could save the sick and the injured. They're different, and they'll be attacked for it.
