It's not as if Sabo doesn't have experience with eccentric individuals, in fact he happens to have grown up with quite a lot of them, but it still takes him some time to get used to a new one. Of course it was a little bit to early to tell for sure but Sabo still had a feeling that the likelihood of Luvander ending up categorized as 'normal' was rather slim. Which was just as well since, in Sabo's experience, normal far to often equalled boring. So it takes him a moment or two of blinking to figure out if Luvander actually took his descriptive word literally or if he's just making fun of him, his lack of tact and/or the shithole in question. In the ends he decides that the latter option is much more likely.
"I get the feeling that you might be making fun of me, but I'm really not sure." Neither of which seems to bother him much. "So I'm just going to defer to your clearly superior anatomical knowledge on the subject and be happy that you decided to only sprain my brain and not any other, more important, parts of me." He makes a small, embellished bow as he speaks.
"If it's any consolation I'm not very fond of the place I was born either. Not that it's the same but-." He shrugs. No, not the same but possibly more alike than he'll be able to share. "Anyway, what do you say to changing the subject to something a bit more cheerful?"
Ooh~ Please be gentle, he has enough scars as it is.
