Brief Personality: Book nerd with super smarts as a power. Often worries more about others than himself and genuinely wants to be a benefit and help. Believes in people making their own fate and that hard work will benefit everyone in the long run. But generally just a nice guy who tends to be more rational than impulsive.

Brief AU History: Born and raised in England, Shulk was accepted at Cambridge University at the ridiculously young age of 12 and received his doctorate at the age of 16. For anyone who keeps up on modern scientific advances, his name is attached to many recent advancements in the research of light and particles of light.

Joined School: Recently was accepted to teach at the school and just arrived within the last month.

I MEAN Kanji's the electrokinetic that Bridget just mentioned, likes making stuff, and would probably really benefit from being told just how to make the best of electric abilities on a technological level and not just a 'blowing things up' one...

Yeah! I mean, they can talk about measuring what kind of output Kanji has and how much certain types of stuff can handle and how to blahblahblah lets focus shit into electromagnetic fields

So Rinka is the phaser-teammate to these two ^ She's not all that science-y, so there are some applications of her powers that she hasn't really thought up yet, or figured out how to do if she's thought of it.

I also have Alex Rider (endurancepoint), who isn't exactly a book-smart sort of person, but he does like keeping up with news in the science world. He's also English, and thus is a bit more likely to have heard of Shulk.
