Brief Personality: Dolorous Edd+war guilt+mutant radicalism+Well Done Son Guy Brief AU History: Son of a famous mutant insurgent in Oz (which is in the North Atlantic, about at the level of Gibraltar). Joined the army when she died, did some bad stuff under orders as a grunt, got himself a boyfriend there, found out the army was using his mother's research, decided to burn all the things. Most recently involved in the riots.

-Liir is a mutant radical. That means he needs both political friends and enemies. People who expect things out of him because of his heritage (which will take some digging to find) are especially appreciated.
-People need to help him work through his guilt from his time in the army. Someone who has experience working with vets who did bad stuff might help.
-busybodies who can help him get over his shyness a bit and learn to have fun
