⊗ Since we skipped last week, this Weekly Update will cover two weeks worth of stuff!

⊗ Once again, we really want to encourage players to use the PLAYER PLOT post.

⊗ There will be a normal AC period this month in spite of slowness, so be ready for that when it goes up next week!

⊗ If there are any new updates on the X-Team front, post them here! We should have the team directory up during Thanksgiving Break this month. Hopefully.


⊗ Please be sure to make use of the AU CR meme, especially since we got a batch of new characters in!

⊗ There seems to be some confusion over this, so we'll make it clear now and note to add it to the FAQ later: The player characters only represent a portion of the school population. The majority of the people attending and teaching at the school are not Japanese. There are a significant number of NPCs, both student and faculty.

⊗ With the midterm election season over, Graydon Creed's Last Stand cohorts are pushing Mutant Registration as THE ISSUE closing out 2018. They hope to have the act signed into law, one way or another, by the beginning of 2019...

⊗ The National Film Board of Canada has maxed out Logan's answering machine (who still uses a tape based answering machine these days?) with desperate calls for his attention.

⊗ The other target of investigation by the X-Men is a man named Sebastian Shaw, founder and operator of Shaw Industries, a multi-billion dollar defense contractor that, in the wake of the constantly fluctuating diplomatic relations with Genosha, has been a very big name in government circles. Rumor has it Sebastian Shaw is a member of an infamous group of the world's wealthiest and most influential people, the "Hellfire Club" and have been conducting secret meetings in New York City...

⊗ The Mutant Liberation Front, in turn with the rising tension in world politics against mutants, have grown even bolder. More and more, their presence is being felt. There have been talks of them starting riots in Paris and Tokyo, as well as the familiar graffiti showing up in more high-profile locations.

1: There's a ghost haunting the forgotten parts of the school. Her name is Moira.

2: There's a near mystical sex act called a "commodore" (link semi-nsfw), said to be so amazing that it can't be revealed to ordinary mortals. If you want to know what it is, the Japanese students and staff might know.

3: Reki and Feliks might say they're BFF now, but they had some kind of titanic conflict ("The Great Affliction", it's sometimes called, for reasons unknown) that eventually resulted in Reki getting traumatized enough to be frozen. Now it's about to start up again and noone is safe.

One or two students have discovered that talking about Moira near Jack makes him FLIP OUT and cry. No one can figure out why.

The rumor that Ms. Suzuki eats students who turn in their term papers late? Apparently totally true - at least 5 students went missing at the last school she taught at... or so the latest rumor goes.

Never mind that it contradicts the previous rumor that she used to be a Yakuza before coming here.

The current game is to guess what Mr. Dixon was before he came to Xavier's. Popular suggestions are homicide detective, motorcycle mechanic, and that one guy from that one movie where they kill a lot of mafia sorts.

One of the students has been taking dinosaur skeletons from the Museum of Natural History in Manhattan.

Some of the skeletons are still on campus.
