Orin reporting in! Being chatty is her specialty, so she's more than qualified to be a convincing socialite, and she can make a quick getaway by turning into a cat and skedaddling before stage 2 starts.
eternalprincess: (Default)

[And here's a comment right here. She can have a temporary codename: Hime.]

Reporting in! With her ability she can figure out things no one even spoke to her about.

Reporting in! People can call her Goddess!

But chatting people up is where she's at.
niepokonany: (Quaint!)

[personal profile] niepokonany 2015-01-18 11:16 am (UTC)(link)
Checking in with Feliks! Time to put his love of gossip and alcohol to good use.

(Also, because he's a relatively recognizable figure on the mutant rights front, he's going to be making good use of makeup, color contacts, and a smallish pair of falsies for disguise-related purposes.)

Reporting in! May come back with more info on how to get in and join than is strictly necessary.

HELLO HI YES reporting for duty
icy_heavens: (Serene youth)

[personal profile] icy_heavens 2015-01-17 06:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Toushirou reporting in! His powers of cryokinesis aren't the most useful for this kind of stuff, but he's smart, level-headed and last time around was the leader of the student covert-ops team. He's been trained in infiltration.
mouflon: (Default)

[personal profile] mouflon 2015-01-17 07:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Tousaka, checking in. Rin has both mundane and mutant abilities in hacking, so she can be of use in dealing with electronic locks, security systems, etc. She's also good for running interference and providing distractions, so if you want her to blow up something on the opposite end of the building instead, well...
realmenknitplushies: (Arm fold)

[personal profile] realmenknitplushies 2015-01-17 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Checking in! Kanji specialises in zapping things, hitting things, and hitting things to zap them. In other words, an inexperienced electrokinetic whose skills will be helpful enough when it comes to the likes of shorting out electronics, but he'll need to be told what to do. His combat skills are decent for a street fighter, and he's had some training sessions with his team.

Please note: I'm in the UK, so timezones may prove awkward; I'd appreciate a chance at a smaller thread somewhere at some point as to not get lost in the flow of things if it goes fast.

Checking in for Shindou!

His mutation - creating mental networks between himself and others - isn't exactly stealth-oriented but would be able to provide ease of communication if the group needs to split up. He's also able to physically power-up those linked to him if the team gets into a tight spot and needs to fight/book it out of there (though using that side of his powers on all eight other folks on the team would be pushing his limits.)

On the non-mutant side, he's had a passable amount of combat training by now (though he isn't much of a fighter without the strength boost his power affords running), and he, Rinka, and Kanji have all been training for super-team shenanigans together for about a couple of months now.
littlewhitelies: (Powers)

M’gann aka Miss M (she could never decide if the ‘M’ stood for ‘Mind’ or ‘Mutant’ or ‘Marvelous’ etc, so she ended up just going with ‘M’ for a catch-all) reporting in!

Ability wise, M’gann is a reasonably skilled psychic. There’s the limitation that she won’t be able to read any robot or AI minds, on the basis that they aren’t organic. On the other hand she CAN make a team psychic link though for some members if they’re in close quarters. (And possibly causing various hijinks for those who DON’T want any of this telepathic junk?) Plus general feats involving telekinesis and lifting people/people-sized-robots/chunks of furniture and tossing them around. She’s also done a few covert ops missions in her time with the Young Justice Team as well and has a little bit of stealth know-how.*

Personal threading goals would be to encounter at least one fire based trap or robot enemy, in order to highlight that M’gann and fire don’t mix. Also, general punching of robots and cool stunts involving traps and powers.

*Okay, so those ‘covert’ missions usually ended up with an incredible amount of explosions and property damage. It’s the thought that counts?
psykick: (⇒ fighting)

[personal profile] psykick 2015-01-17 10:26 pm (UTC)(link)
Rinka checking in!

She's a phaser, so she'll be useful for getting through locked doors (either by phasing through and opening it from the other side or phasing each teammate through with her). She's also trained in aikido and kali (eskrima) and is a member of Shindou's training team.
nobodysweapon: (3 Other - Playful)

[personal profile] nobodysweapon 2015-01-17 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Broody Girl Wolverine X-23 Checking In.

Laura has skills, of the mad variety. All her powers and training apply to this, and she has a habit of breaking into places as a practical straightforward response to problems.

As a tiny Wolverine clone she is most likely going to do something unsafe and violent at least once during the mission.
aquawayfinder: (Ready to go)

Re: STAGE 2 - INFILTRATION

[personal profile] aquawayfinder 2015-01-18 01:59 am (UTC)(link)
Master Aqua, here to serve.

Aqua wants to be hit with useful powers before we go out, if anyone is willing, since she can store and use other mutant's powers. She wields the Keyblade, and is trained to fight.

[personal profile] tatatarata 2015-01-18 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Another hacker-type here -- Takane is a technopath whose ability actually lets her project herself into technology to manipulate it

(someone would have to watch her unconscious body while she did so, though)

[personal profile] musou_tensei 2015-01-17 06:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Kannushi reporting in. He's largely defense and control oriented with his powers, so expect him to play Tank for this.
stardustreverie: (Heh..My turn now)

[personal profile] stardustreverie 2015-01-17 06:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Magus reporting in! She's combat oriented with her powers (Lasers, Bullets and Explosions) but can't take a lot of hits. She'll be playing DPS for this
jolie_aile: (Default)

[personal profile] jolie_aile 2015-01-17 07:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Reine checking in. Her abilities are heavily combat oriented (enhanced strength, speed, sharp pointy claws and night vision). She can be a convenient damage sponge and keep getting back up (regeneration), and as a last resort has a limited destruction ability (her wings will be behaving more like storage batteries than limiters here, like a larger version of the temporary caps). So she's somewhere indecisively between a Melee DPS and Tank.
knighterrantofthedragon: Alric looking aside pensively (pensive)

Re: STAGE 3 - CONFRONTATION

[personal profile] knighterrantofthedragon 2015-01-17 11:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Alric on board! He's good particularly for combat against machines and for breaching, since his plasma jets can burn through very nearly anything with a little time. If he can snag a blunt instrument (or even better some kind of stun baton or the like) so lethality's less of a concern, he can be a lot more effective in combat against people, but he can at least help out there regardless just being a very fit young man.
loveswaffles: (17)

[personal profile] loveswaffles 2015-01-19 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
Raven is ready to go. She can throw in some more damage with a bit of support (barriers) mixed in. Just depends on what's needed more at the time.
