THE TEST DRIVE MEME
This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.
Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!
We also ask that you please pardon our dust. We're working very hard to get this game up and running and hope to be open by September 1st!

"That's disgusting."
Remilia stood, arms crossed with one eyebrow precisely raised. The comment was less of a jab than it would have been in the past, now more of an observation.

Remilia glanced at the couch, eyeing the crumb-y state. She reached out with a wing, after a moment, brushing the chip remains off the cushion—and oh dear lord the greasy things are clinging to her wing. She quickly brushed those off with her hand.
Know what, she'll just stand.

"What a gentlemanly gesture. Next, will you lay your coat down for me?" Remilia jokes as she sits.

"My mother is only like that because we don't—didn't—get out much. She's just..." How to phrase this. "...optimistic about nearly everyone."

"Try living with her," Remilia muttered. She idly smoothed out a crease in her skirt. "Don't fall for her ruse. She's a calculating woman. No doubt she has a plot, already."

She was going to suggest that they stop talking about her mother, but now, that seemed like a little bit of a tactless deflection.
Instead, while Reimu was distracted by his thoughts, Remilia reached over and plucked the chip bag from his hands, peering in skeptically and holding it only with the tips of her claws.
"Honestly, with as much of this as you eat, I'd hoped you developed better tastes by now. Dump salt on a stick of butter and eat that, why don't you."

"Do you have anything sweet? That isn't," she made a vague gesture at the Hostess wrappers, "those?"
Because ew.

Though, that was his last free pass of the day.
"Yes, although chocolate is perfectly acceptable, too." Dear god, man, all she she wants is sugar that won't survive an apocalypse or three.
