This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

But seriously, why isn't there a British school for mutants? Not that she hates the States or anything, but you'd think someone would have gotten on that by now.

Anyway, if someone wants to bother Sadie she's currently in one of the common rooms, manipulating the light around her iPod and occasionally making the couches look different colors by changing what light bounces back.]

Despite all appearances to the contrary, this young man is indeed a teacher. His surprisingly youthful appearance has caused him to be mistaken for a student on countless occasions - but not that he minds. After all, it is easier to bond with the children here this way - and he is also granted a surprising amount of insight into their lives.

He passes by one of the common rooms, noting the flashes of light that show through the door's glass panes. A brief glance into the room reveals the cause as a young lady idly sitting in one of the couches - the colours on the furniture are changing. Hopefully it would be something that doesn't damage it...

"Excuse me." His voice is calm, with a faint hint of a Japanese accent. "May I know how you are doing that?"

No, she refused to be lonely. There were so many people, there were things to do, there were new classes, there were amazing places to go! She simply refused to be lonely.

A paw appeared on her shirt and a pair of green eyes peered from beneath her desk.

Oh no.

It was a kitten, small and unassuming, black from nose to tail, save for one spot of white on a single paw and just slightly transparent. Oh no oh no oh no. Another popped up, calico and a bit bigger. There was the panic. Were they making noise? She couldn't tell. They did that sometimes, her little sister said so. She glanced around stealthily--or as stealthily as a girl with two slightly see through cats draped over her arms could be, and pushed her chair back. Maybe she could go text her sister and make all the loneliness go away.

Her must have made a squeal or something because the person beside her was staring at her. Both hands full of kitten. What a pawsitively bizarre first impression.

"Sorry. Can't help it." She said, in what she hoped was a whisper.

Liir wasn't actually staring at her, but the kittens. For better or for worse, animals tended to love him. Perhaps it was due to to his power...

Speaking of, as he was no longer paying attention, it had started to activate. He was beginning to grow whiskers and his ears were elongating and becoming furry, in imitation. A rather comical look for the normally stoic, phlegmatic junior.

Instead of acknowledging her apology, he rummaged in his pack, as quietly as he could. A year on the run had taught him the habit of hoarding food. Crumbs were always at the bottom of whatever he carried. But at least that meant quick access to a spare bologna sandwich from lunch, of which he pulled out a small piece of the meat and silently held it out to the little darlings.

He's in the library, busy on his laptop. Every so often he glances around and behind himself suspiciously. Judging by the flashing lights and monsters on his screen, that's not exactly a lab report...]

Well that was five years ago. She's eighteen now, unmarried and frankly okay with that (even if her mother, who escaped the jailtime of her father, isn't). It's easier to be an X-Man if you're single, after all.

Badger died a year ago, though, but she has a new little seeing eye dog named Bender to keep her company and help with her combat class. Don't try playing pranks, it won't end well.]

[Well, he returns to his old school for a teacher job, and immediately there's a familiar face. Fai positively beams, and without thinking simply signals "pay attention to me" in her general direction - and then has to fight an urge to slap himself. Toph, the only person apart from someone who was part robot who has ever been completely immune to his powers, and for obvious reasons.

So instead me makes a soft noise and then adds:]

Hi. I do believe you're the girl who once got my twin kidnapped and scared the living daylight out of my boyfriend. It's nice to see you again, Toph Beifong. [Remember the crazy kid? The one who under no circumstances should be allowed to give X-23 The Talk? Hi.]

[Jaune was a nit of a late bloomer expression-of-mutation-wise, and accordingly a late enroller. He's friendly, the opposite of shy - the key to starting to fit into new surroundings is to own them; to think you belong there more than anyone else, or... so his granddad always said.

He'll take his chance making some new friends in locker space. Stops at - one, this is probably his locker, the first digit and spot on the wall match, at least (in fact it's as likely to be yours, or someone else's entirely), and flashes the most deliberately should-be suave of smiles if he catches whoever's approaching the lockers next to him.

The... lock seems to be sticking. Play it off.]

[Gives up on the lock a moment. Leans his hand on a locker, opens is stance, rests his knuckles on his hip.

[Aww, that's cute. Trying to play it all cool and stuff? Feliks knows this act, because he totally does similar stuff when he gets flustered, which is less often than it used to be, but still not really uncommon at all.]

[Well this is... nerve-wracking, to say the least.]

[Queen Elsa of Norway (or "Elsa Haraldsen", in accordance with US nominal laws) is feeling very much like a fish out of water. Her English is heavily accented but passable (she took it upon herself to learn the language, since much of the world seemed to be embracing it and she had no shortage of time), so that is not the primary concern; rather, she is much more worried about the other people.]

[Coming here was an absolute necessity; she knows this. Ever since she was a child, her father had shut her up in the royal library so that she might find a way to understand these powers of hers -- or better yet, a cure. Years spent studying countless books had taught her nothing about her "magic". So when she finally caught word of this strange school in the rural US that promised schooling for individuals with... peculiar powers, well, it seemed like a no-brainer.]

[Still, there was the whole bit about leaving her sister (who could barely control a conversation) in charge of the entire country, and also the continuing saga of getting the Norwegian and American presses to shut the heck up for once in their lives.]

[It's all quite a lot to fret about. So please forgive the poor dear if she is walking down one of the hallways, deep in thought, and accidentally slams straight-on into you... she doesn't mean to be rude, honest.]

[Marie gives a soft noise of surprise as she collides with Elsa, reaching out to steady the other immediately afterwards.] Oh, dear, are you alright?

[Due to living in the United States for so long, her French accent has faded for the most part, but those who listen closely can still detect it.

She can almost swear she's seen Elsa around (fellow college student, she's sure), but she won't say anything about that now.]

Other then that, She can be found practicing her own powers, pushing herself to the brink and brushing off any worry. It was nothing new honestly. Just Marisa all over.]

It's not what anyone would expect to see, but sure enough, there's Leysritt, carrying several boxes stacked on one hand. It's not her strength that should seem odd—even without knowing her specifically, it's a sight any student should be prepared for in a school like this—but the fact that she's helping. Leysritt is the last person anyone would call "industrious," and she's fairly far down on the list of "helpful," too. Yet, here she is, her face as neutral as ever.]

[Beat likes to think he's been taking this whole "wake up in the morning, Jesus H. Christ where did the past five years go" thing pretty well, all things considered.]

[A lot of things have changed, but he is taking up his same old tricks -- because after all, even if he just spent a good fifth of his life conked out, he's still the same old irresponsible dumbass of a kid he used to be. You can find this guy either A) using his sound powers to play practical jokes on people, or B) hunkered down in the cafeteria, occupying an entire table with various art supplies and looking (for once) completely focused on the task at hand.]

[The task at hand, by the way, is sketching out various pieces of graffiti, because someone seems to have found and confiscated his spray-paint stash in the five years he was gone.]

[So Sonic's not entirely sure why he's here; being born with super speed meant that he had to get used to controlling his powers pretty quick (ha!) so that purpose for being in the school was out the window... And at least this place was big enough to warrant some exploring! With loads of people to meet too!

The few times she's actually gone out on the field with the X-Men, it's been about calming situations, and fast. Riots quelled, panic turned into something more-or-less resembling order... Her abilities would be scary, if it weren't for how judicious she was at using them.]

[Right now, though, the librarian and US Government instructor was simply going around the library, putting book after book back in rapid order, her wings twitching in time with the song she was humming.]

Sad

[Waking up to find that half a decade has passed (at least for everyone else) in the blink of an eye is one of those things that just doesn't stop being weird.

Not after the extended, full-on weeping phone conversation with his parents. Not after the first dozen familiar faces he sees and realizes they look so much older now. Not even after a long walk through the hallways that had just started to feel like a second home to him -- he can recognize each little change that the reconstruction brought along with it like they'd all been done yesterday. (Relative to his timeline, they basically had.)

It's all a little too much. And so he's fled out into the front courtyard of the Mansion, all by himself, with nothing but a soccer ball at his feet. He doesn't have anyone to kick it around with just now, but that's almost the point. He just wants to send it flying and give chase, catch it on one knee and dribble it back up with steady rhythm...go through all the motions that still feel unchanged to him.

He keeps it up, working through every solo-move and trick he has in his repetoire, from the basic to the flashy to the ridiculous, as he moves around the front lawn's pathways. Only to end up, foot atop the ball, in front of the memorial statue to Ms. Jean Grey.

Please pay no attention to the brown-headed boy standing there and losing it, then, sobbing as discreetly as he can into one of his sleeves.]

Less Sad

[The next morning, there's an unremarkable enough voice-post to the school intranet. The speaker sounds a little distracted -- Shindou's dictating to his phone while he gets dressed -- but there's still an anxious note under all the politeness in his tone.]

Is there a soccer club at the Institute, still? We were just starting to get one organized, back when...[How to describe squads of death-robots coming to murder you and all of your teachers and friends, followed by time itself breaking, all on the same day?] Back during the last semester I was here.

If no one's started it back up, now would be the best time to get together new members for a team. Before everyone's schedule is full-up with other things. I don't want to step on anyone's toes if there's already a club organized, but -

I'd like to see one stay active here. It's important to have something normal to fall back on, sometimes, with everything else that goes on for all of us.

5 years ago, Souji disappeared.

A lot of things happened during the Phoenix Incident, most of them life-changing and some of them world-changing. But in a way, to him and him alone, that was the one that mattered most. Perhaps he's still alive, or doesn't exist now but will in the future. But for Hijikata, a light went out that day.

And now there's no place for him but the Institute. No calling but Xavier's, nothing to do but try, with all that's left of him, to take care of what's still left. One the surface, he's changed very little from 5 years ago -- he still teaches World History, still leads the Kendo Club, still smiles little and speaks about as much as necessary. Those who knew him well before the Incident, though, might know to miss the quiet, sardonic sense of humor he used to have, might be aware that while his own emotions have been closed off to most, he's gained a little bit more sensitivity towards others.

As usual, the school has been quiet over the past couple of months. It's something of a relief to have life there again as the students trickle back, though there are few he'd actually say as much to. He's sitting near the entrance to the grounds, in an expensive suit worn with the jacket off and a casual air, smoking a cigarette in the shade of an old tree and watching the summer fade. Soon, at least, he'll have some distraction.

Speaking of students trickling back, here was a small, serious one regarding him from several feet behind. He'd walked up quietly without expressly meaning to; it was just the way he moved. Helpful thing when you had to . . . lead a covert ops team. Which he didn't anymore. He wasn't sure where his brain should be with all that. Everything was too screwed up for him to have processed properly.

Toushirou had spied his old history teacher, old kendo coach smoking under the tree and had approached instinctively. With so much about everything being so off, he was drawn to the familiarity.

But he was a boy of few words, as always.

[She inches through the door of the teachers lounge, a cup of tea held high in one hand and a small book balanced on top of a stack of papers. She's doing so well, she's almost to the table, when her foot catches on the edge of the rug and--well--the papers are student essays and she doesn't want to explain that next class, but she can replace the tea.

It just ended up all over someone in the process.]

...And this is why I should have just made tea here. It wasn't too hot was it, I made it thirty minutes ago? Here, I'm sorry, let me get you a napkin!

[Well Kaito was in there, attempting to microwave himself some of the left over food from yesterday as his lunch. He looked to the door and was just about to speak to Maddie when he saw that it was her entering the room, but before he could, he ended up with tea spilled all over his shirt. Kaito sighs and looks at himself.

I don't really think a napkin is going to do much for this shirt.

Michiru Kaioh | Sailor Moon | 11th Grade

[ Michiru Kaioh, concert violinist, graceful girl, mutant. She's had her powers for a few years now, generally keeping them hidden from public view...but after an unfortunate incident at a concert where she used her powers in order to save herself from a collapsing stage, Michiru and her manager decided that attending Xavier Institute for a few years (or until the ruckus blew over) would be the best.

But, just because she's barred from touring, that doesn't mean she should slack off. At least in Michiru's mind, she had to keep practicing. So, the sounds of a violin concerto drift from a nearby classroom as Michiru practices. Lost in her own concentration, she continues to play...utterly unaware that she's probably annoying the entire hall with her practicing.

Somebody totally forgot to close the door all the way. Whoops. ]

[He's no musician himself, but Leonardo can appreciate talent and dedication where he sees it - or hears it, as the case may be - and while he doesn't have the ear of a critic, the strains of music coming from down the hall do sound quite well rehearsed.

And if they also happened to cut into his attempts at meditation, well. He can think of a few other good, quiet places on campus to go hide out and get that done. In a moment.

He lingers outside of the doorway for a good several minutes, just listening - and when the song finally stops, he peeks in, applauding politely.

Talent and dedication deserve recognition, after all.]

Five years go by and most of the staff is still insane, I see. I guess people who worry for the next generation are right sometimes. People here are screwed up as ever.

[He doesn't sound it or look it -- his tone is annoyed and he's frowning impressively -- but he's happy, really. Stasis sucks and having something as normal as wacky teachers is kind of comforting.]

Everything was familiar and it also wasn't. He knew these halls, these grounds once, still kind of did, but there was something at least a little different about everything he looked at. Almost like the old things were a dream.

But they weren't, and he knew it. No, this was just what happened over the course of five years while he'd been in stasis. Five years of being kind of dead, if you wanted to look at it in a negative way, and since that tended to be his default . . . yeah. Toushirou was going to have to deal with that somehow. He knew that. Just how he would was open to much question because what was talking to people about your problems? Something he hardly ever did, that was what.

So he quietly, solemnly roamed the grounds, taking in new faces, wondering if old ones were still about and how they might have changed. Five years was a long time, after all. Especially for schoolkids. But surely some had stayed. It would be easier on him if they had, he was sure.

He could handle new people, but some sense of familiarity would do him a lot of good.

[GOOD MORNING, INSTITUTE! There's a smiling blond on screen, in dark jeans and an unabashedly pink babydoll t-shirt, sitting cross-legged and sort of bouncing a bit on a couch in one of the lounges.]

So guess who's totally back from Europe!

[He flips his hair, and pauses like he's waiting for people to figure it out.]

I had the raddest summer. Like, I visited my family in Kraków, and I did a bunch of junk with some human rights-y places in Warszawa! I just did a ton of back to school shopping, too. Check out these jeans, right? I'm totally not about the wide belt thing that's all over the mall right now, though...

Oh, right! So like, for the new people, I'm Feliks, or Daydreamer I guess if we're doing X-man stuff. I've got a few more classes before I'm done with college, and like, I'm TA-ing for a bunch of the Political Science classes? If anybody wants Polish lessons, they can hit me up, too, 'cause I'm not actually taking that many classes this year. I might be a little busy with my other stuff, though!

After a few months away, Feliks always takes a little bit of time to reaclimatize himself to the school. He can be found wandering around the mansion and the grounds, occasionally pausing to play around with the way the decorations look when he gets bored, or catching a glimpse of himself in a mirror or window and imagining himself a new outfit like he's his own personal fairy godmother.

Any familiar faces should prepare for hugs and/or pestering.

(OOC note - I am fully prepared to throw my existing ideas out the window and figure out how to integrate backstories if the Donatello from the game's previous run is coming back, but for the purposes of this test drive thread, for now I am just fully embracing the comic book powers of Whoops, Retcon. :|b )



There is a turtle on the roof.

But of course, that's just how things roll at Xavier's Institute - where oversized, bipedal turtle-mutants can come to have the closest thing to a normal first day at school they're ever going to have, and where they don't even have to worry about who might see them while they're busy climbing up to the roof.

Leonardo is used to living out of sight, under the city, avoiding human contact wherever possible - because no matter what the world knows is possible, and no matter what some people claim to be willing to accept, the sad truth of the matter is that a great many people still just can't quite gracefully accept a mutant as obvious as him living casually among them. The reopening of the Institute, though, is just the sort of opportunity that Master Splinter's been waiting for - a chance to send his sons up to learn the things that he can't teach them, and experience the world in the way that the sewers can't offer.

(Oldest first, of course, because Leo always was the responsible one.)

He's been perched on the roof for a while, watching other arrivals drift through the gate and explore the grounds. The point is, Fai looks downright respectable, as befits a teacher, in a crisp white lab coat, black turtleneck and sensible shoes. The pants are still a bit tighter and and more sparkly than one might expect, but you can't get everything. And he might still be sitting in a teenagery knot on his chair, one knee tucked under his chin, but he seems to be focusing on the camera, and he is exuding an air of confidence and calm. Hello everyone, I thought maybe I'd introduce myself! My name is Fai Flourite, and I'll probably end up being your teacher in one thing or another eventually - mostly biology and chemistry, though.

I've been told that my scientific methods can sometimes be a bit... unconventional, but I think we can all agree that it's not an interesting lesson unless something escapes from a terrarium or goes bang, right?

[He's joking. Kind of. Mostly. It won't be every lesson.]

Anyway, when I'm not being your ever charming teacher in the noble art of science, I'll also be working here as an X-man. I won't tell you the rather pretentious code name I used to have as a teenager - though I've got a tramp stamp as a reminder - but nowadays I will be referred to as Glamour. Very flattering, very apt - I obviously choose it myself.

[For a moment, a number of different people are visible instead of him: A couple of presidents, Julia Roberts, Professor Xavier, Peewee Herman, the Queen of England. And then Fai is back, grinning widely.]

O~kay, I think this is all for now. Anyway, the camera is on a timer so I won't ramble on and bore you all. See your around. [He gives the camera a jaunty wave, stands up and... starts climbing out through the window. In a couple of seconds he's gone, and then the feed cuts.]

Yes, that sure is what appears to be a grown-ass man climbing out through the window on the third floor. He shimmies fairly easily along a narrow ledge on the outside of the building until he reaches a drainpipe, and then quickly starts to lower himself toward the ground. The last two meters are taken in a flying jump, lab coat billowing out behind him, and the man lands softly on the ground. What a show-off.

Except he apparently didn't know anyone was watching. Not that he seems to be particularly bothered to be caught in such a strange undertaking, if the wide smile is anything to go by. "Oh, hello there. Didn't know there was anyone out here."

There are so many unfair things about this.

*The voice was generally coming from behind Fai, to get him to turn around and spot her dangling her legs off a second story window near to the third story one he escaped from. She had big silvery headphones over her ears and the lightest blonde hair, the very picture of how she looked five years ago.*

Maya had found the only thing worse than being back in school was her brief visit home. The slight fading to her posters, the new computer, the little things that made the room alien had been almost as bad as her sister being out of College and on her way to her life when Maya 'woke up.'

But her cello survived, somehow. Sentinels, the Brotherhood, half a decade asleep, it just needed some gentle care and new strings. Of course with all that's happened, all that's on her mind, it's no surprise all she can make it play is sorrow. She missed a lot in her years asleep, she was catching up on the current music. She wasn't even trying with the fashions anymore. She didn't know how to approach anyone else because how do you just say 'oh, I haven't caught up on that, don't spoiler Breaking Bad for me!'? How do you just... go back to a life when life's wandered away. Your friends are scattered, or old, or both... or worse...

So she did what any artist did with all this in her heart, she let it ride along the strings of her cello while she sulked.

Maya... your life kind of sucks. The world's crumbled around you, social interaction is pointless, all your friends have moved on. And the icing on the cake: the one time a familiar face appears in front of you again, said face is Beat.

He never spent time in the music room, back in the day; sure he was a sound manipulator, sure he liked music and sang in the shower, but that didn't mean he had even a hint of musical talent. Listening to other people's jams suited him just fine. So in his endless wanderings around the school (Maya's not the only one with no friends to spend time with), Beat hears someone playing, and curiosity gets the better of him.

Beat plays no tricks as he enters the room and realizes who's inside. His obnoxious smile is gone.

Weapon X-23 worked out, like she usually did, far too early in the morning. Then she worked out again right before lunch. And if she was feeling moody she did it again after dinner. Keeping her senses, reflexes, and moves sharp was just a habit she hasn't broken.

She was older than when the school closed, but not as much as everyone else, healing factors. They fight acne too, not that she'll ever admit she's rather thankful not to worry about pimples. She looks as approachable as she ever did, in that she has really sharp claws extended as she stabs and mauls all manner of invisible ninjas who ruined her first attempt at prom. Not that she'll admit to that mental image either.

As approachable as ever and yet a highly welcome sight for some. Once puberty had stopped pummeling him every five minutes, Fai had started rising just as disgustingly early as his brother, finding that he rather enjoyed the freedom of having a quiet cup of tea, while the rest of the world slept. (He still wasn't allowed coffee on pain of his brother coming and sitting on him.)

He could tell that it's her from quite a distance, simply from the way she moved, with a discipline that he'd never seen anyone manage to match. Body language was important to pay attention to when you could change people's minds, but not read them to find out what you'd done.

She must've both heard and smelled him long before she actually saw him, and while he could try making her forget she did... well, he'd gotten rather a lot better at that sort of thing, but he wasn't sure if he's that good. And anyway, that wasn't how you greeted an old friend who you haven't seen for years... although the proper form of greeting would require some precautions first. "You know, I'd rather like to hug you, but I think I'm waiting until you pull the claws in a little bit."

Elizabeth | Bioshock Infinite | Age 19 / 12th Grade

[Anyone who's ever faced some degree of abuse can see it immediately on Elizabeth's face and in the set of her shoulders. She keeps to her reading, avoids physical contact with everyone when she can, and never, ever, talks about where she's come from. Even talking about her powers is a struggle, given her history.]

[In the past year, she had been more or less tortured in a brutal attempt to control her powers and make her obedient to Zachary Comstock-- a religious fanatic desperate for recognition from the US government for his work in producing human weaponry. And he'd started with his own daughter.]

[That isn't to say that Elizabeth never converses with anyone. In some ways, she's eager to experience life outside of the captivity she was raised in, but her experiences so far have taught her that she trusts too easily and that her powers have ensured she will go through life being feared by everyone. Her situation seems grim to the point of futile, but when she was given a chance to have a semi-normal life away from Comstock she took it gladly and gratefully.]

[But that had been the easy part. Now she's moving awkwardly from her dorm room to breakfast to classes to lunch, and so on, day after day.]

[Usually Elizabeth can be found reading on the grounds (outside, after having spent years without means of going outside, is always her preference) or trying to catch up on popular culture in one of the common rooms. Movies, music... she's seen next to nothing and so she misses so many jokes the other students make. Elizabeth is nothing if not determined to move forward, at least.]

[Beat flops down unceremoniously next to her on the seat and spares a glance at the TV. The show is unfamiliar (that's what you get for being unable to watch anything for five years), but it looks an awful lot like your average boring sitcom.]

What're you watching this for?

[It's not accusing, really, just amused and a little confused. There can't possibly be so little to watch in the future that students have to resort to this.]

Kanji's still not used to this school. Still not used to the idea that he can actually relax and - be himself. Hah. When has that ever led to anything good? So here we have a new transfer wandering the corridors, a map of the school in his gloved hands, trying to get his bearings. Rather distracted, to say the least.
...did something just fall out of his bag? A little scrap of pink fluff... a bunny?

This isn't a good situation for Kanji to be in right now. There's a whole lot of heavily-accented swearing coming from up and down the halls. Dammit, how could he have been so stupid... he's running around, sparks flying off him - and that's the problem.
The walking generator's running around with hands and arms totally bare. Which means anyone likely to run into him might end up getting a shock.

A young man speaks up from behind Kanji. His voice is calm and composed, not showing any hint of disapproval or otherwise negative emotion. He looks to be just around twenty, dressed rather formally in a dress shirt with a vest and tie. What stands out rather immediately is the clarity of his grey gaze - he carries himself with a rather mature air.

Howdy Folks! Who wants to see a magic trick?

[She pauses briefly to listen to your imaginary applause before brandishing a number two pencil between the thumb and forefinger of a gloved prosthetic hand.]

I'm gonna make this pencil disappear.

[She starts humming a poor rendition of circus music and slowly inserts the pencil into her nostril. As promised, the pencil seemingly disappears info her skull. Not stopping there, Patricia starts to stick another pencil info her nose and another...and another. Eventually she puts a pencil up one nostril and it comes out the other. Then out her ears and her mouth. All while singing that dumb circus song. Of course, this is all thoroughly unimpressive if you know she makes portals.]

Ta-dah!

Between classes, Patricia can most often be found skulking around various corners of the campus supporting a rather serious smoking habit for a fifteen year old. She's been caught smoking twice already, but it's hard to keep things away from her. She figures she'll find the good hiding spots before she runs out of stern warnings and fair punishments. There's nothing this school can throw at her she hasn't been through a thousand times over.

Smoking is something Patty would always prefer to do alone, as it's just about the only time she'll take off one of the cartoonish white gloves that cover her robotic hands; the gloves lack the necessary grip to operate a lighter and her arms don't move fast enough to strike a match. Even without a glove, starting a lighter is a troublesome task usually accompanied by a enough "rasser-frassing"s and "sonnofa"s to catch the attention of anyone near by.

"You kiss your mother with that mouth, sugar?" Moxxi comes along, looking to do the same thing. It's not a frequent habit she indulges in, though what can it hurt every now and again? She very clearly sees the cigarette in Patricia's hand, not to mention her failed attempts at lighting it. Though instead of punishing and reprimanding her, Moxxi just takes a seat next to the student and holds out her hand.

"Give it here. I'm much better with my hands."

She wasn't going to be winning any "faculty of the month" awards, that's for sure.
