THE TEST DRIVE MEME

This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!

We also ask that you please pardon our dust. We're working very hard to get this game up and running and hope to be open by September 1st!

Well'p Patty had been getting suspicious and now she's sure of it.

"You don't really work here and are actually some creepo who snuck on to the campus, aren't you?"

She's definitely not using this as an excuse to dismiss any compliments, super creepy or otherwise. Because that's definitely not a thing that happened. She's a legless, armless, toothless mutant and is totally unwanted in just about every way.

This one had a funny way of showing gratitude. "Sugar, I literally just said that I work on weapons and any other gear that needs fixing. Ask the good professor or the rest of staff and they'll tell you." Granted, they may also tell her a number of other sordid stories, but Moxxie was okay with that. Actually, it may even do Patty some good to hear of some of her... exploits. Knowledge was power, right?

"Besides, not like they're turning away new faces these days."

"Alright. Alright. I believe you."

You're innocent until proven guilty, Moxxi. What it is that you're guilty of, Patty isn't sure, but it's probably something weird. What sordid path of discovery are you sending this poor innocent child down, Moxxi? Have you no shame?

Patricia took another pull from her cigarette and noticed, to her small suppose, she'd gone all this time without replacing her glove. She stowed the cigarette in her mouth and slipped the globe back into position with what little finesse she could muster. She took the cigarette back between her fake fingers and ashed. She guessed they really were taking anyone right now.

"You really know a better place to go smoke?"

"I'm a lot of things, sugar." They could both agree on that, to be sure. Them, pretty much everyone in the school, and beyond. The name "Mad Moxxi" had come to be known far and wide, especially in the seedy underworld. "But I ain't no liar." Except for the times where she was. But right now? Totally not a liar.

"Just say the word, and I'll take you there." Another hit, as Moxxi exhaled some more smoke. "Or, we could just stay here and enjoy this little moment. Your call."
