THE TEST DRIVE MEME

This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!

We also ask that you please pardon our dust. We're working very hard to get this game up and running and hope to be open by September 1st!

[Wow....Who would have thought that this girl would have made it to adulthood? Let alone being a teacher?

But there she is, standing at the head of a class and excitedly teaching about some sort of science which tends to end up on fire in some way or another. On purpose or on complete accident, who knew? although she isn't above pranking the kids who don't pay attention or ended up causing problems.

Other then that, She can be found practicing her own powers, pushing herself to the brink and brushing off any worry. It was nothing new honestly. Just Marisa all over.]

[If Marisa remembers Beat at all, she may know he was incredibly averse to paying attention in class. He's still incredibly averse to paying attention in class. But look, his teacher is setting gases on fire in the center of the room -- Beat's practically sitting there with popcorn, grinning like a maniac.]

Wait -- what's this called, again? The gas.

[He's definitely not considering getting his hands on some, nope.]

[Oh, Marisa probably remembers but she keeps it to herself. Just to try and keep things somewhat normalish.

Besides, from a underclassman to suddenly teacher probably was weird enough.]

Propylene, the only one I could get a hold of for class. Good luck tryin' ta get some for other things. It was a pain ta get a hold of as it was.

[Yeah...Remember who you are talking to Beat. Marisa used to cause explosions almost every month.]

How'd you end up finding some? Special teacher privileges?

That and other hook ups I have. Technically Prof X didn't want it in the class room. I had to assure him it would not blow a hole in the mansion ...again.

If ya have the right hook ups though, even this type of thing isn't hard ta find.

[Instead of responding, Beat is trying to give Marisa an angelic smile. Look, he's even taking his goggles off so she can see how genuine his eyes are, never mind the fact that he's just opened them up to the propylene.]
