THE TEST DRIVE MEME
This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.
Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!
We also ask that you please pardon our dust. We're working very hard to get this game up and running and hope to be open by September 1st!

"Okay, well, whatever I guess. You can call mine! It's [whatever]." He fished his actual phone out of his bag.

"Hej!" The voice came at Bridget in stereo, from Feliks and from the phone. "So basically my deal is, I can imagine things are different and make them be. I mean, not anything, obviously? Like I can't mess with anything that can think, or make something out of nothing, and I have to be paying attention to it or it'll fade back to normal pretty fast, and it's mostly illusions unless I'm trying to make it real? Most days I just use it on my clothes and stuff, though."
Not that he hadn't learned to be prepared to use his power to its best advantage. That big purse of his was full of the things anyone might carry -- a travel can of hair spray, a little packet of bobby pins, a tube of lip gloss -- that might at a moment's notice become a can of mace or a set of professional lock picks or whatever he needed at the time.

"So? What about you? I mean, like, what can you do?"

What happened next was a little more weird. The phone froze in place. Completely still, as if resting on a surface. Suspended in the air and defying gravity.

"...What'd you do? Did you like, stop it in time?"
It had just stopped so neatly, like the energy of the fall just ceased to be. What the Hell?

"It's pretty sweet, either way!" Seems like it must come in handy for a lot of stuff! Kind of like telekinesis, he guesses?

Feliks definitely didn't have room to complain about what anyone else did, in that department.

Feliks is fantastic at humility. Just the absolute best. But also, he can empathize there -- he spends a little too much on clothes already, and would probably have to mooch off his friends for food if he didn't have his power to keep his fashion budget in check.
"Anyway, if you want I can dress you up sometimes? Like only when I'm around you, but it's better than nothing!"

"Plus, it's no trouble. It's kinda like my hobby! Come on, wanna try?"

He looked him up and down for a moment longer, then nodded, seeming to make up his mind. With a snap of his fingers, a thoroughly unnecessary gesture done 100% for flair, he put Bridget into a long, blue, sleeveless dress with a Victorian design, little bows holding up the shoulders and the points where the skirt was gathered up to expose a flash of fluffy white petticoats.
