AROUND THE WORLD

⊗ Better get used to the name "Dazzler". As THE premiere mutant pop diva, no doubt every single celebrity news avenue is going to be super focused on her. It's a good thing her music is pretty good, or this could get pretty annoying...

⊗ There is noticeable backlash in the US against President Kelly's intentions to veto the Mutant Registration Act. There are all kinds of rumors about his change of heart, chief of which is that his own daughter may have come out to him as a mutant, but some feel there's a deeper conspiracy going on.

⊗ The National Film Board of Canada has issued a public statement urging Wolverine to reconsider his position against having a film made about him. Many Canadians believe he is a national treasure that deserves to be immortalized in film, perhaps in an educational documentary. Logan, predictably, just belches and grumbles when asked about it.

⊗ The unfortunate incident in the news post was just the beginning. All over the world, "U-Men" are becoming louder and more violent. They are a cult that has formed around John Sublime's teachings, but right now, no legal connection can be made. Interpol, the FBI, SHIELD, and Professor X are all investigating...

Soren continues to tell people to piss off when they ask him about his scandalous roommate, whether it's "why's a girl living in the boy's dorm? Is she your sister or something?" or "omg so are BB and Bridget a thing or something? Do they do it in your room too?" or "like so I heard that Bridget has an assassin teddy bear is this true? omg that would be so scary to sleep with."
