THE TEST DRIVE MEME
Hello, True Believers!
This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.
Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!
Be sure to read up on all game information and the "!event" tag to make sure you have all your ducks in a row.

Since he wasn't making a move to stop her, she slid the knife into her sleeve and just kept with what she was doing.
"And if they tried to offer me tofu I'd take their eyes out. Disgusting stuff, most stuff out of dumpsters taste better."

"Well. Considering you are taking the candy, to keep with your analogy, as we speak, you might want to rethink it before you cast too many aspersions. But I appreciate at least that you're not longer..."
He trails off briefly, but continues in the same relaxed, playful tone.
"...what, exactly, threatening to make me a sandwich? Which I would appreciate, but as a fellow student, I don't intend to put you to work."

If it were her choice, she'd be out in her world, on her streets, doing her thing. Looking after her cats, stealing, skulking. She was pretty much okay with who she was. And his commentary was making her want to get the knife out again.
"I was planning on stabbing it through your right eye before pushing you out of the way and finding a spot to hide, if I needed to." Always go for the eyes, and with a knife she wouldn't have to get her fingers dirty doing it. She hoped the candor would get him to go away, especially as she played up how okay she was doing that by taking a cookie and eating it. "You don't need something very sharp if you know what you're after."

"I suppose you can try, if it would make you feel better, but I expect we'd both regret it for entirely different reasons. ...however, I am sorry to hear about your situation. Strange and frightening as this place may be, though, you might do well to give it a chance."
He paused briefly, and smiled a little more.
"Please, forgive my manners, I've not introduced myself. Alric Caelegart."
