THE TEST DRIVE MEME

Hello, True Believers!

This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!

Be sure to read up on all game information and the "!event" tag to make sure you have all your ducks in a row.

[ Ok, that actually does make him laugh. He's trying not to just outright lose it though, he still has to be the ~adult~ in this situation. ]

Oh god, I remember thinking like that. Then I realized that stealing the money itself is a lot easier, and, well, you get where I'm going with that story.

[ He opens the bottle on a nearby table and drinks out of it. Cups are for losers. ]

But as I'm sure you know, that's not a fun life, and you should be glad you're here. If you want to, you can put those street smarts to a decent cause. I didn't get that kind of chance when I was your age.

Money isn't exactly easy to find.

*Cat stop looking at the nice criminal's pants trying to see which pocket his wallet is in. She takes the half gallon of milk she's got in her jacket out and pours herself a glass of it, then puts the container back where it was.*

I was putting my skills to a great cause, me. Sometimes the other kids, and the vets, they're usually nice to me. Now I'm here with a bunch of kids who worry about what kind of rehab their favorite idol is going through. Pass, I liked it out there.

[ Yeah, he noticed her trying to look at his pockets. He was in the game for 30 something years and he's used to being on guard, even now that he's "retired." ]

Ah, yeah, because living in shitty cold motels with scratchy blankets is sure something that I miss. Yeah, you're right, I'd just love to go back to running from the cops and living off of whatever money I could pinch out of a gas station.
