THE TEST DRIVE MEME
Hello, True Believers!
This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.
Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!
Be sure to read up on all game information and the "!event" tag to make sure you have all your ducks in a row.

[He makes no mention of any incidents in Inaba.]
Right, that's what we're here for! To tell you the truth, it probably won't be anything so flashy as defending everybody.
[If the school's last line of defense is ever Security, they're screwed, in Adachi's opinion. Yet he brightens briefly.]
But we do patrol the campus, and we're trained in emergency response.
[Any brightness is short-lived.]
It's mostly people sneaking out and trying to hang out where they're not supposed to. Bringing in things they're not supposed to have, misusing powers, silly pranks. Stuff like that.

I haven't heard of it, sorry. But I don't know most places outside of Tokyo.
[Rinka finally catches on that this is basically just a hall monitor position, but she's okay with that. What her and her friends had been up to in Tokyo was pretty much acting like the hall monitors for the city, at least in relation to people misusing their powers. This would be similar, just in a smaller scale.]
We had a similar position at my previous school. But I had a part-time job, so I had no time for clubs or meetings. I want to join a club here though, especially one where I can be helpful.
Would we patrol every day of would we take turns?

[Though maybe if she did know it, she'd know about him. So it's better like this.]
Great, great!
[Oh wait, no, someone is actually joining his club, which means he will have to do a thing. Yet he can't directly discourage this from happening.
And it's true, he tried to make it sound more fun, but it is basically a hall monitor club.]
You've got experience and everything, that's more than I expected! And that's the thing. Like I said, we're starting this club up now, so you'll get to be one of the founding members who sorts this kind of thing out. Cool, huh?
And as long as it doesn't interfere with your studies, every day, every few days... whichever you want.
[He's so organized and decisive.]

I have just one more question then. Will we be allowed to carry weapons while on duty?
[She rummages off-camera for a moment before producing a pair of hooked police batons. From their battered appearance, they've seen some use.]
My father taught me how to use these, though I can use a straight stick in a pinch if they'd be considered too intimidating.

Weapons? Well— ah.
[He looks at her batons. He didn't actually ask about weapons like that. He's mostly concerned about guns.]
Those should be okay! I'll see what I can do, I'll ask my chief about it, make sure he knows you know what you're doing.
[The more weapons, the better, in Adachi's opinion.]

Thank you, Officer Adachi. I look forward to working with you.
