⊗ National Coming Out Day came and went, but you're still allowed to backdate posts for it if you want to!

⊗ Political tension in the US over the Mutant Registration Act is feverish. It is THE issue leading to the mid-term elections. And even with the president saying he will veto a bill that goes across his desk, the proponents have made it their goal to make the MRA into law, one way or another, no matter what. At their lead is Senator Graydon Creed, a former community leader, ex-campaign manager of Kelly's, and a man with previous connections to anti-mutant hate group Friends of Humanity.

⊗ You can't even check out at the grocery store without seeing Dazzler's face everywhere. No other celebrities are coming out as mutant, given the massive increase in press on her is considered more a burden than a blessing.

⊗ October 17th is Wear Something Gaudy Day. One could easily argue most superhero tights are gaudy by default...

⊗ The mystery of the U-Men is getting deeper. Expect a major development sometime this week.

1. Gossip is circulating about what various people will wear for Halloween already. Speaking of which, do you guys remember how Fai and Feliks totally went as the main characters from Moulin Rouge last year? And spent like half the night slow dancing and looking into each other's eyes?

There is reason to suspect that they are either screwing with everyone, or freaking brain damaged to have not noticed yet.

Someone said they're actually secretly married. It's just, like, one of those open marriage things, right?

2. So rumor has it that the Kendo Club is going to put together one of those shirtless calenders for fundraising. You know, like firefighters do!

Or was that the X-men?

3. Beast Boy obviously has a type. The school gossip-mongers are undecided on whether or not Koshi fits the pattern. He's kinda short and cute, too, right? And the pink hair can't be discounted...

4. You've seen that Kanji guy, right? Totally built. I heard he was actually training as a professional dancer before his mutation developed -- like, one of those really acrobatic types, always lifting people up and doing flips and stuff!
