Or, well, more like just "roster."
Hi again, guys! We've been so excited to see all the student-formed teams coming together over the past week, and now we also have the official team roster for those who opted for the mod-sorted process. As it turned out, there were just enough volunteers for a single squad, which will be as follows:
Student Members
Elleanea "Eli" Thompson
Gilberte de Rais
Liara T'soni
Luvander
Meiling Hong
Faculty Adviser: Oulan
Which seriously, Oulan, good luck with that bunch. Our suggested team-name for you is "How Many Clones Does It Take to Get Gilberte and Luvander to SHUT UP." (You'll get the joke after a Danger Room session or two together, we predict.)
We kid, of course. In reality, you guys have an entry under the STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS page as "Team 4" for now, which you can feel free to have us update once you settle on a team name, Oulan selects a student leader, etc. etc. etc. ICly, your characters will all be finding out about their assignment by at least today, so they're not totally blindsided by the War Games event later in the week. It's up to you all whether you'd rather play out the team meeting up beforehand or not.
All of that said, we really appreciate everyone's participation in this little experiment! We do have to apologize to the many players who put staff volunteers forward; we ended up with way more than we could possibly sort to mod-formed teams. But we would like to remind everyone that many of our player-formed teams are still missing faculty advisers. So, if you volunteered a staff member and didn't end up with a team, take a look at the Organizations page and consider adopting a bunch of mutant kids in spandex today!
Finally, one last reminder that the deadline to get all team rosters finalized on the Organizations page is Midnight CST, May 15th. The War Games event will be going up as close to that point as possible, so if it's not done by then, any characters left off will be sitting the event out.
Thanks again for everyone's participation so far! We're super-excited to see how the event turns out.
