I'm trying to tell you that these 'mutant attacks' are not happening as often as you think they are, and that media and humans blow it out of proportions when they do happen. Yeah, people do get killed, but it's not like it's super common that mutants are violent, just as it isn't with humans.

The mutant registration act doesn't just mean dangerous mutants, it means everyone. People who can murder cities with their mind and little kids that suddenly grow a black hole where their face use to be, and end up causing accidents. If registered, their lives will be over from just one mistake.

...and hey, the youngest kids in this school are ten and could very well be listening, so yeah, you're sprouting this to little, frightened kids that now think there's an anti-mutant extremist in the school, no matter if you are or not. I don't want you to upset them or make yourself ostracized here. We're trying to help you, too, even if everyone now sounds hostile and defensive.

Frankly, if everyone you talk to call your opinions - opinions, mind you, not you - racist, bigoted, fascist and nazi-like, then maybe it is not they that are not listening.
