Haha, thank you, I'm glad! HE'S SO WRONGHEADED

Some of them are worse than that.

[That's right. He said it. Of course, he's mostly regurgitating Friends of Humanity talking points. Because he's fourteen and was raised by them after his mother's death. But as far as he's concerned, mutants are monsters, and they could easily become murderers if not kept in line.]

I don't always like the government either, but America's not Russia.

[Sorry, Eren can't follow that line of reasoning. Obviously, America's better than Russia!]

I didn't say all mutants were weapons, but enough of them can do harm to people that someone needs to keep track of them! You keep putting words in my mouth. I don't think we should hurt kids, either. It's not their fault. Maybe we should try to help them and fix them instead.

What about the people hurt by mutants, then? Do you not care about them? Maybe if someone had done something, they'd still be alive! Like you said, the mutant powers are on a larger scale, so we have to do more about it.

That is what this place is like! I've seen it—there's all this weird stuff underground. And weapons. It's like a compound.

[And he would know, having been raised on one.]
