Hello, True Believers!

This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!

[ Sam's not a delinquent, but he's not exactly...an honours student. In any of his classes, really. Actually he's more than a little terrible in math and that's basically why he's here today, trying to finish make-up assignments in order to dampen the effect failing his last unit test. Numbers just don't make sense alright it is not his forte.

...But he still wants to pass. Which is why when he gets that prompt from behind he looks back with a somewhat incredulous expression. ]

What?? Are you trying to get in trouble?

[She straightens up a little, propping her chin in her hand.]

Come on, what are they going to do if they catch us? They're already forcing us to attend these boring classes.

Yeah but I need these boring classes to pass... Don't they have, like, detention or something here? [ Something similar to this but with more...punishment? Or something? ]

Detention's the same thing, except they don't give you any math to work on. [It's not a very threatening punishment, as far as she's concerned!] C'mon, don't you want to live a little?

Yeah, but I also kinda wanna pass this class... [ His mom will throw a fit if he comes back with worse grades than he arrived with. And that is a terrifying thought. ]

Laaame. [Her parents basically treat her as a lost cause anyway. It saves her a lot of trouble!] What kind of guy doesn't want to come hang out with a cute girl, anyway?

Eh?? No--that...! I would totally want to do that!! [ Trust him. His goal in life is to date a gorgeous girl and hold her hand and marvel at her beauty. Sam turns around completely in his seat, math forgotten in his sudden need to insist on this fact. ]

Well, let's go, then! [Immediately, she brightens up, straightening from where she had slumped over the top of her desk.] It's no fun if I'm by myself.

Right now??? [ he should never have opened his big dumb mouth; her sudden straightening has him sitting up a little more proper too, hands gripping the side of his chair. ]
