THE TEST DRIVE MEME
Hello, True Believers!
This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.
Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!
Be sure to read up on all game information and the "!event" tag to make sure you have all your ducks in a row.

as much as Tatsuya probably hates the conversation, I'm loving the thread
[Tatsuya Suou, master of tact.]
You're too idealistic. Tch... not to mention... who made guns and nuclear weapons in the first place? Humans! Do you think we mutants choose to have our powers? Do you think we choose what we get?!
Would you really judge the middle-schooler who hurt a couple of bullies because he lost control of his powers on accident more harshly than, I dunno, a baseline human who commits murder in the first degree?!
I'm so glad! Now Tatsuya knows how Jean feels.
[Tatsuya, you have met your match in tact! Or lack thereof.]
You can't be too idealistic. What's wrong with ideals? And no one ever said humans don't do anything bad. That's not my point at all! There are still people keeping track of nuclear weapons and who has them, or trying to, and that's my point.
I know mutants don't choose! I'd do anything I could to give my power back! But I can't, so I'd sign up to be regulated.
[So there! This is some flawless arguing right here!]
No, I wouldn't, but I didn't say anything about that, either! All I talked about was making a list! What's your mutant power, putting words in people's mouths?

[... One might get the feeling that struck a little close to home, as he's ignoring the rest completely.]

Uh, you can't say I'm wrong because it's going to backfire when that hasn't even happened. You can't prove it's going to go wrong.
[Eren doesn't get that feeling, because he's not that observant.]
And if they know the mutants are dangerous, then they'll know they can be used as weapons, so they can do something about it. Since that kind of thing already happens, what we're doing now isn't good enough.

You know what? Forget it. You're too thick-headed to get it!

I'm not thick-headed, you are!
