THE TEST DRIVE MEME
Hello, True Believers!
This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.
Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!
Be sure to read up on all game information and the "!event" tag to make sure you have all your ducks in a row.

Alright. This discussion is just running in circles. You're obviously to upset to listen, and I'm getting frustrated and I'm not going to yell at a kid. That's not the kind of man I am.
I'm sure you have a reason to think like this, and I'm not forcibly changing your opinion. Just trying to say things every single mutant in this world would say. Not just here, but everywhere. I'm living proof of that.
It is frightening for people, and bad things are happening to mutants in other countries that tried the same laws. The fear that the same thing will happen here is real, whether or not it will actually come to that. America is not infallible, history is obvious about that. Genocide of native Americans, slavery - it's not a new thing.
...but I'm getting off topic. It's obvious why the professor brought you here, and I'm willing to bet my life it's not to kidnap you and bring you harm. However, this is a school of frightened kids and hormonal teens that you've just pissed off, so just try to keep the MRA opinion down a bit. I don't want you in my office for anything related to school fights. Preferably just flu shots and colds.

I know what mutants think about it. That's not hard to figure out.
And how is this genocide or slavery? That's totally different! It's just being careful! So that people can be protected. We already have the census. There is going to be a war, and we have to be ready for it.
I'm not going to be quiet about my opinion. I have as much of a right to say my opinion as anyone else here in the United States of America. If people can't deal with a different opinion, that's their fault. They can be as mad as they want. You're not going to have to heal me, so don't worry about it.

I'm not even an American citizen and even I know that the freedom of speech thing is about the government being forbidden to censor you, not you having the moral right to spit your opinions to a school full of refugees trying to get by in a world that fears and hates them.
I'm not even saying you should be completely quiet about them, either. Just try to be more careful of who you speak with - for their sake and your own.
