THE TEST DRIVE MEME

Hello, True Believers!

This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!

Be sure to read up on all game information and the "!event" tag to make sure you have all your ducks in a row.

15 is so not enough.

I guess that could help. I'm just a lot more...hands on. Maybe.

[ She can't tell her teacher that she finds the stuff boring, that she would much rather be studying science or something. ]

I'm sorry, I will try harder from now on!

It's also no good if the 15 are the last 15 you uploaded.

I don't know if it's a matter of trying harder if there is a fundamental lack of engagement.

I feel in this way I'm failing you more than anything.

[But what sort of hands on projects could she do. She could maybe do a field trip, but that seemed a bit dangerous and potentially unwelcome by both students and any sort of institute she could go to.]

What if I had you create your own government? You can do it in any way you wished, and convey it with any method.

yup

Really? So it's not my fault?

[ She lets that little bit slip, thinking that Eiki doesn't even blame her at all, that she's not really in trouble! Except her grades are still pretty bad.. ]

My own government.. So I could make a government that sets laws in place on the use of magical talismans? Or tries to solve the differences between the magic users and non magic users?!

I wouldn't go so far as to say that.

[Her tone was dry, effort was still needed by the student.]

You could do that, but you must set it up and explain it and how it works. Think of the government, its citizens and what both want and what is feasible. If you want to make it a magical society that is perfectly fine.

[ Azusa just slinks down a little, that dry teacherly tone hitting her. ]

I can?! I can totally do that! W-What if it was a extra project? I could do a whole report on it, and maybe it could help my grade...

I would highly encourage that and would love to see what you come up with.

[Hopefully having her do something she enjoyed would allow her to see and learn the oimportaint underlaying aspects.]

That's great! I won't let you down, I promise!

[ Already she's thinking things over in her head. ]

I guess the ruler of a Kingdom would need a Magister to to rule in her place if she left...and maybe a group of advisors, a council who would judge over things.... [ She's just going to get a little lost in her plan right now. ]

I'm glad to hear that. It already sounds like it would be a very interesting project.
