THE TEST DRIVE MEME

Hello, True Believers!

This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!


Be sure to read up on all game information and the "!event" tag, as well as the weekly updates to make sure you have all your ducks in a row.

[Palutena was watching and when the regimen ended, she looked on in surprise! So much more could be done! A little rudely, she pushed the staffer aside and hit the button to start it back up again!]

[Well, she had just folded Magnhild back up and was getting ready make the trek back across the grounds, when the lights dimmed again, and she heard the sounds and warning bells of a training program starting up again.

Which was unexpected, but Nora is nothing if not prepared for the worst, considering she was still on a combat high, so all she did was grin.]

You should've told me there was a part two! I would've kept the extra ammo! [She charged as soon as Magnhild finished unfolding, right back into the foray, like a tank is supposed to in an RPG party.

She wouldn't be able to abuse her rocket-jumping since she had before, but what did that matter? For now, she was just going to -]

[- Wallop the closest training dummy as hard as she could, one foot skidding as she put her momentum behind a rather golf-like swing.]

As for herself, Palutena focused on the girl and clasped her hands together. A halo lit up behind her head as she used her own abilities. Namely, doubling Nora's powers. As a downside, she got to hear Palutena's voice in her head.]

[Well, probably the most opportune time to do that. Of course, even a voice in her head didn't stop that swing, and the next thing Nora knew, there was a shriek of metal as some kind of triple-ancillary reinforcement system failed and the training dummy was dislodged and sent skidding, heavily, into a nearby obstacle.]

... Woah.

[Of course, now that she had seen what she'd just done to the training dummy, it was time to address the voices in her head. She didn't think she was crazy, but then again she always knew she was a little weird and who in the world was talking to her...?]


Oh... I think I broke it. Um... and who is talking to me? Have I finally gone crazy? Is there something in the air? ... Am I just hungry? [Except, there was still a training regimen, and about the only thing Nora could see around was... things that were going to start shooting or flying at her soon, so of course the logical thing to do was continue on.

The danger room will probably look like a warzone before she's done with it.]

[Well that brought Nora to a halt - in safety that time. One of those 'hide behind a crate until the coast is clear' moments.]
