This is for anyone wanting to establish CR going into the game, or if you're already in the game and looking for more. It can help you hit the ground running on potential inter-personal plots. Use it however you like!

Very possible. There was a quickly-squashed kerfluffle when Naoto was found to be a mutant, which he might remember, or not.

I would be very up for complaining about press pains-in-the-butt in any case!

He can commiserate on how anal the diet is about mutants. They've hounded him over registering for years.

Naoto's a bit nervous about that, to be honest. Possibly career-breaking and all. But oh, yes. There will be commiseration.

The way Reimu looks at it, his mother, the original Hakurei Miko, never registered. So he's not going to either. Plus he just hates paperwork. It's less a "YOU'RE A MUTANT?! IN PUBLIC?!" issue for him, since supering is his job, but more that he just loathes bureaucrats.

He can probably help Naoto come to terms with being a mutant hero in a place as weird about that kind of thing as Japan is, though I can't say he's a good role model, given how monumentally lazy he is about everything.
