Hey, guys, Sam here (Saitou and Leonardo).

I'll get the bad news out of the way first: Saitou and Leonardo are getting dropped (fading into the background, so no IC farewells necessary). I deeply apologize to those I still had things yet to do with! But to make a long story short, they're both a character type I've been playing nothing but for years now, and while I've been trying to ignore my waning energy for a while, I did some soul-searching and decided I could probably use a break from my honorable swordnerds. Thanks for the good times, guys. ♥

BUT YOU ARE NOT RID OF ME.

Instead, I'm bringing in Ken Amada from Persona 3, or "that tiny kid who flipped out and tried to commit murder-suicide."

(That backstory hasn't changed much from canon, so if you really don't want suicidal themes to come up in your RP, please do let me know here and I am happy to avoid the subject or not tag you at all, however you prefer.)

Psst, with Saitou out OOC but still ICly around the school, do you have any preference for how to address his role as advisor for Team Fabulous Hair?

On the one hand, for the time being, I figure it'd be pretty harmless to just assume he's still handling official supervision duties and making sure they don't kill themselves in the Danger Room or whatever...but letting the team lead itself organically, otherwise? But we could also go ahead and handwave some reason for why they need to find a new responsible adult while Saitou is swamped with work elsewhere.

Either would be fine, I'd think? Or, if you don't have a preference, I can just poll the other team members' players and we can go from there. Just wanted to ask!

(P.S. I don't know Ken's canon at all but he sounds great and adorable in a kind of terrifying way.)

My preference mostly runs to "whatever makes things easiest for you guys," since that was honestly one of the things I worried about most with dropping him!

If off-screening it works for everyone, you're welcome to assume he's doing the responsible adult thing off in the background and letting the team kind of figure themselves out, but if you decide it would be better to get an active character you are also quite welcome to handwave a reason. o/
