THE TEST DRIVE MEME

Hello, True Believers!

This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!

"I kind of do... they're all older than me but I was already big when I met them and they were just little girls. I didn't know them for very long, though..."


He pauses.


He frowns.

"The man that built me... he made them, too. I don't remember what he did to me, but I think they had it worse... They were monsters when I met them."

"Monsters? Like what..?"

Of course she doesn't really want to know, it just seems like the thing to say. I mean you ask this kind of thing normally, right?

"They... had eyes like yours, but their voices were all weird... the place I'm from was hell but they thought they were in paradise. They rode around on big daddies and sucked blood out of corpses to make drugs. They didn't know any better. They thought that was fun. Because Suchong made them think that." His hug becomes a bit tighter, while he thinks about it, as if he thinks Jun is going to disappear if he lets go. "Tenenbaum saved them, and me, but I didn't make it out of there with her... I think she brought the girls to the surface, but I don't know. I got stuck under the ice for sixty years. I don't know where she is at all..."

Jun hugs the giant child as tightly as she can. Which probably isn't much for Jack.

"That's awful..how could somebody do something like that to little girls..?"

[the_prodigal_son]

"I don't know... I wasn't even born when he started working on me. But the things he's done..." His brows furrow, "He got drilled through the stomach by one of his monsters. It serves him right. I just hate that I couldn't kill him myself."

"I'd rather not think about you killing people...You're too kind for that."

"I'd rather not think about killing people either. It's... I don't like thinking about where I'm from."

"Well that's all over. We're safe here, right? That's what mama said when I left.."

"...Yeah."

Not in the least, if his experience serves, but sure. He'll agree for her sake.

Jun doesn't notice at all.

"I like you. You're really kind."

"Really?"

He may or may not be turning red.

"Yes! And you're warm. That's very important."

Of course the fact that he's really cute and could protect her doesn't hurt.

"Oh."

Yep, even his ears are red.

Of course, Jun standing on her tip toes so she can kiss his cheek probably doesn't help. But she's sure enjoying it.

THAT'S HAPPENING.

And it is way too much for him to handle. As gently as he can, he picks her up and deposits her at arm's length from himself. He is also a stuttering mess now. Good job, Jun, you broke him.

Jun can't help but giggling and his reaction. Yes, this is the beginning of her future career in manipulating men to her will. Ah, what innocent beginnings.

"Are you okay?"

"UH-"

Calm yourself, Jack. It's just a kiss. People kiss.

EXCEPT PEOPLE DON'T KISS HIM USUALLY WHAT DOES HE DO WITH THIS.

"I need to go. I- bye."


There he goes.
