Character Name: Liir Ko (real last name: Thropp)

Canon: The Wicked Years

Brief Personality: Dolorous Edd+war guilt+mutant radicalism+Well Done Son Guy. Still kindof figuring himself out.
Brief AU History: Son of a famous mutant insurgent in Oz (which is in the North Atlantic, about at the level of Gibraltar). Joined the army when she died, did some bad stuff under orders as a grunt, got himself a boyfriend there, found out the army was using his mother's research, decided to burn all the things. Most recently involved in the riots and recruiting a mutant radical team.

Joined School: about 9 months ago

Plans/CR seeking/other ideas:

-Liir is a mutant radical. That means he needs both political friends and enemies. People who expect things out of him because of his heritage (which will take some digging to find) are especially appreciated. He's especially looking for recruits for the x-team.

-People need to help him work through his guilt from his time in the army. Someone who has experience working with vets who did bad stuff might help.

-busybodies who can help him get over his shyness a bit and learn to have fun

Is it okay to make Test Drive threads game canon?: yep

If you'd like to do more with Eren and Liir, I am up for it! Eren will continue to stay in the room, being angry and not a very good roommate.

He's also suspicious about terrorism in the school, and he's on the case, so basically there's not much chance things can go well between them.

Ooh, do you think they could get in a thing during the Danger Room examinations? I'd like them to have some sort of attention grabbing conflict. Also how about people start hateshipping them on the rumor mill?

I would agree, but Eren isn't going to be participating in the Danger Room scenarios. Due to his politics, he's refusing to participate in any school sanctioned training or to join a team. (He gets really mad at the idea that the school is militarizing young mutants.) We can think of some other conflict for them to get into though, I'm sure! Ha ha, maybe they can even argue about this issue.

Some other thing to boil over, then? For instance Rin being over constantly and having no respect for anyone else's space? Or Eren finding those flyers that Liir left out and reporting him? I'd like them to get into a knock down, drag out fight in public. Maybe Liir uses his secondary power to find something to goad him with?

Actually, the flyer thing would be perfect, since Eren already noticed them. He also considers it his duty as Liir's roommate is to keep an eye on him, so he'd be looking out for any evidence that could connect Liir to wrongdoing. We can have him report Liir to the administration, which is exactly what he'd do, if he had proof. He doesn't trust the administrators either, but he wants to see if they're really as against terrorism as they say.

Well, Zancrow here is part of the MLF, and in the past was part of other mutant terrorist groups. To say he's a radical is an understatement. Maybe something with that?

That works! Liir has become the unofficial leader of the radicals among the students by default but he doesn't actually have any experience being a leader. As someone who was close to Renko, Liir will defer to him, even though he should probably trust himself more.

Gene Nation, the radical x-team, always needs more people.

Oh boy, Zancrow's not a leader, he's an attack dog, so expect a lot of shrugging and suggestions of setting things on fire =P

But yeah, Gene Nation would be something Zancrow's interested in.
