I teach two science subjects, so assignments all come with marks assigned to each question. The total score of a student is thus calculated according to how many marking points they score per section. Some teachers choose to use the seven point system or the traditional alphabetical system, but I prefer to list absolute score percentages and class ranking percentiles.
