She hardly notices him as one cat tries to slip away and go after some speck of light and the other one refuses to get out of her face. It's true, she can still sort of see the paper he held but she has to crane her head to one side.
"Geez..." If only she had more control over them--well--she wouldn't even be known as a mutant, "Wha?"
She reads the paper and shakes her head quickly, trying to hide the silly cats from sight. This is especially ineffective given he's right there beside her desk.
"Sorry, got lonely." Her whisper is actually rather soft for once, maybe too soft.
