THE TEST DRIVE MEME

Hello, True Believers!

This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!


Be sure to read up on all game information and the "!event" tag to make sure you have all your ducks in a row.

[It's really messed up that someone would do that to a kid!]

You might be able to! I mean, there's scientists who are trying to fix that kind of thing. I want them to make it so I don't turn into anything else, too.

[Eren nods very earnestly. Of course there must be a cure!]

Do you really think so? Even if he shattered us?

[She tilts her head a bit to the side before hugging herself.]

Yeah, I definitely think so! Don't give up!

[What a jerk her dad must be!]

[He still doesn't like it much, and he feels uncomfortable talking about it.]

[She looks excited at that, missing the fact that he seemed uncomfortable about it.]

Can you get really, really big and reach high up? Maybe save kittens trapped in trees?

Oh, uh... I mean, I do get that big.

[Not that he can control himself in any way, shape, or form. But he gets a lot taller than kittens trapped in trees.]

So, I guess I could.

[He doesn't want to scare her and tell her he's dangerous.]

[The little girl swirls around him like a whirlpool made of tiny diamonds.]

That's wonderful! Can you show us?

[His impulse is one of revulsion. He's so horrified by the idea of becoming that thing again. But he controls himself for the sake of the kid. Poor thing. It's not her fault she was born a monster. Just like him!]

Sorry, I can't right now. I don't know how to do it again.

[And what if he hurt the kid? Well, she's made of diamonds, but he might scare her, at least.]

[There's a small shrug at that.]

That's okay. Maybe they'll teach you how, just like they'll help us make a new body that doesn't break.

[That's good. He didn't want to disappoint her. Not that he wants to get into the subject of transforming here.]

Maybe. And yeah, I'm sure someone will help you out, and you'll be okay.

[He wishes he could be sure of that for himself. She's like him. She just wants to be normal and not broken.]

...and we do not remember our name. Our father kept us separated in jars, and we forgot many things. We call ourselves Glitter.
