THE TEST DRIVE MEME
Hello, True Believers!
This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.
Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!
Be sure to read up on all game information and the "!event" tag to make sure you have all your ducks in a row.

YES HELLO
"Hi Orin." Was she in trouble?
"I dropped my phone." Stretch. Stretchstretchstretch.

It's a gutter, so she hates even the possibility of bringing this up, but as much as she hates the idea of going down to get it, she hates the idea of Okuu feeling bad about losing her phone even more, so a suggestion passes her lips almost immediately.
"I could try goin' down there. I'm a pretty itty-bitty kitty, right?" She snorts at her own rhyme, a little too amused with herself...but she's sincere. Cats are pretty flexible, and while she's not sure she can squeeze through that space, it's worth a shot if it means getting Okuu's phone back.

-!
Okuu stops flailing after her phone for the time being, blinking up at her friend. Her wings stop flailing and buffeting the air, too, instead acting like giant tripods to help her sit up.
"You'd do that?" Wait, no, that was a dumb question. "Should I hold your feet?"

"I kinda wish more people died in gutters so I could just get someone down there to bring it up, though." She doesn't even realize how horrible that sounds. She's still kind of caught up on the putting the phone in her mouth thing. But it must be done, or else Okuu's phone will be lost for good, and then Orin won't have anyone to send hilarious texts to when she's supposed to be paying attention in class.

"Okay."
That...sounded complicated! But would probably make more sense when Okuu actually did it instead of thinking about it. Most things were.
"Maybe further in the city? I bet there's a lot of dead things in there," she replies casually, almost lightly and with absolutely none of the expected seriousness that the topic of corpses usually possessed.
Shining beacons of morality, these two.
"Now?"

"Anyway, I'm ready when you are! We gotta get your phone back, 'cuz I only have the one number in my phone..." Having no one to text is really a depressing thought.

"I'm ready," Okuu says as she sits up properly into a crouch. She didn't grab Orin's feet yet, though (she was still standing that'd be rude??).
