THE TEST DRIVE MEME

This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!

We also ask that you please pardon our dust. We're working very hard to get this game up and running and hope to be open by September 1st!

"I ate all mine on the way over." The trip was long, and she had gotten bored and hungry. Now, though, she hung her head in mourning over her squandered pocky... Only for her expression to immediately perk up again as the box was tossed her way. She was a girl of simple needs, if nothing else.

It was something he found he was already liking about her. They shared a love for snackfood, and a distaste for wasting words. He could work with that. Reimu carefully wiped his hand clean before reaching for the remote and turning on the television. That would help make up for the lack of conversation.

Junk food and television. He was clearly one of her people. Drawing her feet up onto her seat and bringing her knees to her chest, she stayed silent, her eyes glued to the screen as she waited for his choice in programming.

The choice in programming?

Fist of the North Star, apparently. In original Japanese. And Reimu was very obviously humming along with Ai wo Torimodose as it played in the opening, tapping his foot to the beat.

His selection went over well, apparently. Eyes widening slightly, Leysritt straightened somewhat from her typical slouched posture.

"Nnf."

That was supposed to be a (small, understated) expression of enthusiasm, but it was muffled by the cupcake she still had stuffed in her mouth.

"You like this show?" Junk food, laziness, and now his favorite anime, too? This kid. He liked this kid.

"I never got to see all of it." That didn't precisely answer what he had asked, but there was a certain gravity to her tone that seemed to say she didn't consider such to be a good thing. "I couldn't watch it while Ilya and Sella were around."

[musou_tensei]

"Criminal. It's a classic." Reimu shook his head. Some people just didn't appreciate art these days. Then again, some people really just did not care about that particular anime as much as he did.
