THE TEST DRIVE MEME
Hello, True Believers!
This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.
Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!
AND REMEMBER, RESERVES OPEN JUNE 3RD!
Be sure to read up on all game information and the "!event" tag, as well as the weekly updates to make sure you have all your ducks in a row.

The hell's it look like I'm doing? [It's spat out almost instinctively.] I'm sculpting.
[Indeed, standing in front of her is what appears to be a bull. There's not very much of it done, thanks to the tools being "junk", but what's there isn't bad.]

By shouting at it?
[She'd never tried sculpting before; partly because...well, it almost felt like cheating, using her vectors. And it didn't have the same colors to it, obviously. Others often commented on how her paintings looked, with odd colors rippling here and there off of things.
But that was just how she saw the world. It didn't seem strange to her.]

No! These shit tools keep breaking!
[They look pretty solid at first glance, but there are a large number of broken ones lying about all over the floor. Guess she's stronger than her frame would suggest.]

If you're just looking to start shit, outside's free.
[She didn't know this person, didn't really know what they were capable of, except that she had issues controlling hammers apparently.
Kaede didn't particularly care. Or, well, she did--but if her bluff was called, oh well. Then there'd be fighting, wouldn't there? Kaede was used to that too.]

Crack... Snap!
The wooden handle splintered in a matter of seconds, metal shattering on the spot and falling onto the floor. What made it odder, though, was how easy she made it look. Didn't even seem like she used the same amount of force a human would to snap a pencil.]
Believe me now? Or should I break one off in your head to get the message across?
kaede no
What? That you can break shit? So can I.
[She set the brush case down on a table outside, and stalked forwards--one step, two--until she could just reach one of the broken chisels with her vectors, six feet away. Two of them snaked out of her spine, ghostly, jointless hands, usually at least passably invisible. But not to a machine.
They telekinetically lifted the chisel--then one split it down the middle, straight through the metal.
She stopped, waiting for the other person to move next.]
