It seems unlikely that they wouldn't have crossed paths eventually!

So how much support would be have gotten from Cael? His endeavors have been... Varied. From marches and publicity campaigns to well-intentioned sabotage, so there's a lot of different directions it could go.

Also, "ambiguously religious" is kind of the best kind of religious friend for Feliks. They don't tend to fuss too much about... Well, about him.

Well, he wouldn't have been strictly approving of anything more underhanded, but I also don't think he would really condemn Feliks for such tbh. That said, he tends to be more focused on wherever he considers his home (read: the Institute at this point), so he'd be most interested in participating in local/nearby events. He's also a big bleeding heart though so even if it wouldn't be something he'd participate in directly, he'd always be willing to help pass along information.

Cael is a fussy person, but in a "did you eat your vegetables" way :'D Really, between him always feeling the need to be the Responsible One and the fact that he can be pretty easily flustered, I think even casual acquaintance-level CR between the two of them has the potential to be pretty funny.

It doesn't sound like Cael's the sort of person he'd tell about the underhanded parts, though he's chatty and impulsive and therefore terrible at keeping secrets. So, y'know. At least he basically never does anything that will cause real harm to anyone unless it's in direct defense of someone in danger?

And Feliks is excellent for flustering and confusing Responsible Fussy Types :D

He'll take Feliks' word for it, since he certainly doesn't seem malicious, even if he does leave him perpetually frazzled :'D He's also pretty trusting like that, honestly.
