Chun-Li | Street Fighter
This was her. China and Interpol's legendary Super Cop. The US had Captain America. Japan had Sunfire. Mexico had El Santo. China? China had the Strongest Woman in the World, Chun-Li Zhiang. And she was now teaching at the Institute, preparing the future X-Men for the battles on the horizon against them mysterious forces manipulating the world towards global mutant/human war. The aura around her as she examined the 'troops' was incredible. The strength in her every step was palpable. This woman was a legend, and she carried herself like one before her students... Though really, she still had jet lag and just wanted a goddamn nap.
She stopped at one of the students, examining them up and down, cocking her head. This one looked like they had some potential, at least...
"You. Your name, grade, and mutation." She commanded, her voice clipped like a drill sergeant.
[ Network - Video ]
-This Chun-Li is barely the same person as the one that was heading up training the other day. She was far more relaxed, casually sipping on a mug of tea, with her hair partially down in braids. Even her smile seemed sweet, sincere... almost intimate. When the job was over, she didn't feel a need to keep up those pretenses.-
I've been on assignment in American before, even in New York, but I never been outside the city before. Anyone have a favorite hangout? Local bars? Gyms? Especially gyms. I don't want to take up all the facilities here for myself, heh...
Mostly, I just want to know what you guys do for fun around here. All work and no play, right? Have to keep reminding myself that...
network
I dunno if someone like you'd like the bars I go to. [Read: please no drinking buddy. Please. PLEASE.]

Well, I'm—blue. [Of course, as soon as the word are out of her mouth, she realizes how stupid they are. To her credit, she only cringes internally.] Obviously. You can see that.
[Alright. Deep breath. Now, starting again...]
Liara T'Soni. College freshman. [She looks a bit too young for that, but considering her obvious physical mutations, it could just be hard to pin down her age.] I have psychic abilities, though I'm better with telekinesis than I am with telepathy. Ma'am.
[NAILED IT.]

Scenario, T'Soni. -She stepped back, turning around with her arms locked behind her as she gazed up at the sky.- On the battlefield, you are faced with two attackers. One is armed with a club of some sort, the other is not, but obviously has some augmentation to their strength. Which do you attack first, and how?
no subject
Thankfully, before her thoughts can travel too far down that path, Chun-li gives her that scenario to chew over. For a moment, Liara remains quiet, digesting the information given to her. When she opens her mouth again, it's to ask:]
What are their positions relative to mine? Depending on that information, my answer will differ.
[As though she's solving a logic puzzle.]

"Sir, Liir Ko, Beta, Imitation of the traits of and communicating with animals and postcognition of organic objects, sir!"
Was that earnest and immediate a reply sardonic or sincere? It was hard to tell with him.
no subject
But this wasn't the time or the place to assure Liir she had nothing against his history, or his mother. More important was...
"Scenario. You are presented with an enemy that has a hostage as a human shield. They will escape, with the hostage, if you do not act within ten seconds. The enemy is armed with a gun. The type is irrelevant. How do you respond?"
no subject
Liir was a careful thinker, not prone to heroics.

She wasn't expecting to be called on, let alone answer. So her mind drifted elsewhere in a dozen different directions as it usually did-
"Excuse me?"
She wasn't wearing a hat in the lineup, though her horns didn't budge--not like ears at all. Her shoulders stiffened instead, just like how they had every time an instructor called on her.

Kisume | Touhou Project
[It's a strange thing to see a very ragged looking child on the network, looking at the camera like it was a thing that could bite her. But once she's sure it's one there is a hesitant smile and a wave.]
Who all here? School not like before..Smell different..people bigger or not here.
[A pause and she glances about and slightly frowns. Her English is off and very forced, probably not helping anything.]
I alone this time...Was told safer here. Is true? Or bad men come to attack? I will fight!
[Action]
After wandering about the school, feeling lost and confused, the tiny girl had made her way outside, out to the forest. Even with her oddly colored clothes, she seems to blend in and slip in and out of the brush without any cares in the world.
Although once she reaches the water, she'll sit and gaze up at the sky, a deep and thoughtful look on her face.
[Action]
Kaede had been just visiting the forest; dabbling at the edges, really, to look at the flowers and new buds and sprouting growing things and there was something too big scuttling around and--she hopped awkwardly backwards, one after the other until she stopped, vectors bristling ghost-shimmer bright from her back.
"Who's there?!"
[Action]
"...I here. Not bad, not hurt. Just looking to find thing."
She tilts her head and sniffs at the air a little bit, trying to figure things out on her own before trying to ask..since she knows not everyone really understood her.

Oulan | Suikoden II
[A Job offer was the last thing she expected. She thought she had screwed up, using her power in front of a client in a noticeable way. She hid it so well in the past but this time used them in front of the wrong people? Or was it the right people.
Suddenly instead of bodyguard work she found herself with a new job working security at a school for the X-Men.
Her first day of work finally done she retires to the gym. It was definitely far better equipped than the dojo she trained at before. They actually had punching bags that weren't turned to paste after just a few punches.]
Sure as hell wish I had this back home.
[It's been a few days and outside of being the random girl walking through the halls and courtyards she hadn't really introduced herself to the populace.]
Listen up! I'm going to get straight to the point and not waste your time. I'm Oulan, a new security officer around here. You'll see me roaming around on campus. If you ever feel unsafe, come and talk to me. If you need an escort somewhere in town just ask.
