Hello, True Believers!

This is for anyone wanting to test out their characters in the setting before the applications open, see what clicks. Multiples will be allowed for this post, and you can generally assume any threads are a self-contained continuity unless you feel like getting creative.

Just post a thread with your CHARACTER NAME and CANON NAME in the title with a prompt and others will reply. Prompts and threads can be action spam or prose or whatever. These threads can be used on the sample section of your application, as well. Go out and have fun!


Be sure to read up on all game information and the "!event" tag to make sure you have all your ducks in a row.

Good, I don't mind if mutants are scared of me! Maybe they should be!

[Eren really shouldn't just say whatever comes into his head when he's agitated. And yet, he does.]

But...you're a mutant too right? You shouldn't scare the people who'll probably try to understand you! Besides, you should want to scare everyone equally if you have to do it! Picking one group just because you don't like them isn't fair.

[garganteren]

[No, he won't let himself be reformed.]

Yeah, I'm a mutant, but I don't want to be. And I don't care if anyone here understands me or not.

Why shouldn't I want to scare the group I don't like? I don't care about being fair, either!

Well that doesn't make you a very good person does it! I don't think anyone who's not a good person should be making decisions for other people if they're not gonna be fair. What if we wanted to register and keep track of all the regular people because they might be a danger to muta...uhh, us? [ It's still weird to include himself in that group. ]

If you're going to worry about the safety of other people you can't just choose who you want to protect! That's like me saying I'm not gonna save you from a burning building just because you're a huge jerk.

You can think I'm a bad person all you want. I'm not going to stop doing everything I can to protect humanity! People make decisions for other people all the time. Just because you don't like it, that doesn't mean it's not fair.

It's fair. And people like that are kept track of. They're put on terrorist watch lists by the government! So you don't know what you're talking about.

[It's weird for Eren, too, to be a mutant. But he has to face it.]

I'm protecting the people who need protecting.

Mutants are people too you know! Stop talking bad about yourself like that!! Do you think you should be all spied on and stuff??

I didn't say they weren't people! They're just not humans.

And I can say whatever I want about myself. Yeah, I should be spied on, I'm a danger to the people! I'll let them spy on me all they want.

The only thing you're a danger of is having really cruddy self-esteem!

And, you know, being a scary jerk. But I don't think you should be spied on for that...

There's nothing wrong with my self esteem! I'll do what's right even if it's not good for me, because I want what's best for everyone!

I'm not a jerk. I don't want to hurt innocent people! I should be spied on because I'm a danger to humanity.

What makes you so dangerous anyway?? You look totally normal to me...! [ Mind you, like, 90% of all mutants look like that...but...you know. Shush. ]

I don't always look like this. When I'm dangerous, I look like a monster.

[And he doesn't want to be a monster.]

But you know it doesn't matter how mutants look. The worst ones can look just like humans.

No, you're wrong, I am a monster! And everyone knows mutants and humans aren't the same! I'm not human anymore...

YOU! [ Sam stands up straight very suddenly and shoves a pointed finger right up at Eren's grumpy mutant face. It's an incredibly dramatic point. Very intimidating. ]

[Eren is taken aback and takes a step back. What's he talking about?]

Five! On each foot, I mean. But that doesn't mean anything.

[He doesn't believe in Sam, Sam is a weird mutant!]
